What is electrostatic spraying technology?
The use of a device that applies a small electrical charge to aerosols when passing through the nozzle. This ensures complete wrap-around coverage of all surfaces in the area.
How does mold affect my home and health?
Molds should never grow inside. When they do grow inside it can cause serious health risks in some individuals who have existing health issues. Health conditions that can occur from mold exposure range from allergic reactions to Mycotoxicity, which can be very serious. Within homes, molds can also cause damage to wood, drywall, insulation, and other structure materials.
What is the process of mold remediation?
Mold remediation is a several step process that includes:
Containment to prevent cross-contamination to clean areas
Demo – removal of all compromised materials
Removal of visible growth utilizing HEPA vacuuming and damp-wiping
Disinfection - eradication of all molds and spores
Cleaning – removal of stains
Remediation – incorporating the fixes to prevent future growth
How long does a mold remediation project typically take?
1-2 days unless a significant demo is necessary to uncover all mold growth.
What are the signs that I may have a mold problem in my home or business?
Allergies, fatigue, brain fog, or other symptoms with unidentified cause, a dank or musty smell, or visible growth are all signs of a mold problem in your home.
How does BioSafe Environment ensure mold won't return after remediation?
We determine the root cause and either implement necessary fixes to prevent them from returning, or provide guidelines for implementation of fixes. If all advised fixes are implemented, the mold should not return.
Are BioSafe Environment's mold remediation services safe for my family and pets?
All products used are EPA-registered and safe after drying. We advise that all occupants leave during the disinfection process of the remediation to ensure safety.
Is BioSafe Environment licensed and insured?
We are certified in mold inspection and mold remediation for residential and commercial properties. We are fully insured in all necessary areas to provide mold remediation services.
How can I prevent mold growth in my home or business in the future?
In all inside areas (conditioned spaces), maintain a relative humidity level of less than 50%, and ideally, less than 45%. Ensure proper ventilation in attics and garages. If any floods or leaks occur, remove all standing water, and completely dry the area within 24 hours.
